Our Story
Set amidst 280 acres of pasture farm land in the Northamptonshire countryside overlooking the Nene Valley. Our family run business provides the perfect setting for your wedding or event at our outdoor venue.
Hidden away from the outside world is our festoon lit hawthorn woodland; an enchanted space where you can gather around our very large fire pit and celebrate under the canopy of the trees.
Just outside the gates is a space of 15 acres, naturally formed and perfect for a tipi or marquee where you and your guests can enjoy the stunning views spanning down to the River Nene and across the valley.
We are a unique blank canvas venue and have teamed up with some of the best suppliers across the shires to help make your day perfect . Our list of approved suppliers will give you lots of different options to choose from and still allow you to put your unique stamp to our venue.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do we have access to Hawthorn Grove for?
The day before your wedding day for set up. The day of your wedding from 9am until midnight.
The day after between 8-11am to collect all your items.
Can we have fireworks, Chinese lanterns, sparklers?
Due to our countryside location, we do not allow fireworks or Chinese lanterns. We do allow sparklers but they must be used in our designated area and overseen by our events team.
Can we choose any supplier for our wedding?
We work with some of the best local suppliers, we will provide your marquee or tipi and on the day management. Our nominated chef is also available to talk about your menu.
We can also provide you with a full list of all other suppliers to help you plan your day.
Are we allowed to bring pets?
As much as we love animals, we feel that our venue is not suitable for pets. We are a working sheep farm so need to look after the sheep.
Can we have a firepit?
We have a firepit on site that we would love you to use but you do have to buy the wood for the firepit from us as we need to ensure it is compliant.
Can we camp?
Yes camping is allowed on site, but please enquire about pitches.
Can we use confetti?
Yes, as long as it’s biodegradable.
What is the cut off time for our celebrations?
11:45pm are last orders at the bar.12:00 midnight the music is off.All guests to leave site by 12:30 unless camping onsite.
Are we allowed candles?
We love how a candle glows but we are only able to allow candles if they are within a vase or lantern within the marquee or tipi and on our grounds.
